The Initiative
Gati Mitra — short for Gram Aatmanirbhar Telecom Initiative — uses the publicly funded BharatNet fibre infrastructure to deliver Triple-Play services across rural India. Local entrepreneurs designated as GATI MITRAs drive ground coordination and integrate with existing local cable and ISP operators.
